`Prayer Diary` app does not collect, use, or share any personal data from users.

Crash reporting and analytics

The app uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, both provided by Google, to help us find and fix bugs and understand basic app usage. These services may collect:

• Crash and diagnostic logs (e.g. stack traces, device model, OS version) when the app crashes or encounters an error.
• Basic, anonymized usage data, such as which app layout (Calendar or Legacy) is in use and general app-open activity.
• A randomly generated device/app instance identifier used to group this data - this identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information, since the app has no accounts or sign-in.

This data is sent to Google in its role as our service provider and is not sold or shared with other third parties. See Google's Firebase privacy terms for details on how Google handles this data: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Location

To calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla (direction to the Kaaba) for your area, the app uses your device's location (approximate or precise, depending on what your device provides, or a location you enter manually). This is used only on your device to perform these calculations and is never sent to us or to any third party.

This location is saved on your device so the app can keep showing prayer times and Qibla direction without re-fetching it every time. Denying or revoking the location permission in your device settings stops the app from fetching a new location, but a location saved before that point continues to be used until you set a new one, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.

If no location has ever been set, prayer times and Qibla direction show a prompt to set one (via GPS or manual entry) instead of a calculated value.
